Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are directed towards to a detachable intraoral camera externally coupled to various oral hygiene devices. The detachable intraoral camera including a detachable fastening means to be designed as a universal detachable intraoral camera attachment for engaging with the oral hygiene devices and as a brush head for the electric toothbrush. This enables to capture the images of the teeth for enabling a targeted brushing and illuminating the plaque. A camera light emitting diode assembly mounted over the detachable fastening means configured to illuminate the respective area of the teeth and its surrounding structures for capturing the images of the teeth, a wireless transmitter module configured to communicate with a plurality of display devices embedded with a wireless receiver for transmitting the data related to the images captured by the detachable intraoral camera and an internal rechargeable power source configured to power the camera light emitting diode assembly and the wireless transmitter module. 0) 0 (00 CU-
