PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently supply a component received in a tray.SOLUTION: A component supply device includes a magazine 14 for storing a plurality of palettes P for supporting a tray, a component supply table 15 (palette support means) having a plurality of support stages capable of supporting the palettes P, and a relay device 16 (taking-in and out means) provided movably vertically between the magazine 14 and the table 15 to transfer the palettes P between the magazine 14 and the table 15. The component supply table 15 supports the palettes P such that the tray on a palette P which is supported on the uppermost stage is opened upward and that the tray is located within a movable area of a head 5a. The relay device 16 holds the palettes P with the tray opened upward, and the tray holds the palettes P so as to be located within the movable area of the head 5a while the relay device 16 is arranged at a height position corresponding to the uppermost stage of the table 15. |
