PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus and an inkjet recording method capable of performing frameless recording without attaching ink to a conveyance belt.SOLUTION: When a sheet 3 is conveyed while ends 3b, 3c of the sheet 3 is positioned on a conveyance belt 6, ink for recording an image in the ends 3b, 3c is not ejected from a recording head. When the sheet 3 is conveyed while the ends 3b, 3c of the sheet 3 is not positioned on the conveyance belt 6, the ink for recording the image in the ends 3b, 3c is ejected from the recording head. |
