PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which, even when an exposure time in pre-light-emission photometry is shortened, is capable of performing accurate light control.SOLUTION: In the pre-light-emission photometry, a CPU 21 controls an imaging control unit 22 to cause an imaging device 15 to image plural frames. With overlapping timing of the exposure periods of the respective frames between imaging of the frames, the CPU 21 controls a flash control unit 26 to cause a flash light-emission unit 27 to perform pre-light-emission. Thereafter, the CPU 21 calculates the light emission amount of the flash light-emission unit 27 in main exposure on the basis of the image data obtained by imaging the frames. |
