PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct water level change due to installation inclination of a humidifier, by detecting an inclination angle of only one low-cost axis.SOLUTION: On a vertical line passing through a center of one side surface of a water supply section 7, a water level detection means 9 for detecting a water level in the water supply section 7 is provided. The water level detection means 9 is formed from a plurality of electrostatic capacity type proximity sensors 9a to 9e arranged side by side in a vertical direction, and by providing a water level correction means 16 for using an inclination detection means 11 for detecting an inclination of a water supply section 7 side surface and a value detected by the inclination detection means 11 to correct the water level detected by the water level detection means 9, the water levels on the left side and the right side of the water supply section 7 increase or decrease in right-left symmetry with a vertical line as the center, and thus the water level detection means 9 on the vertical line becomes unsusceptible to the inclination of the humidifier body, so that the water level is detected with an intended amount of water by detecting an inclination angle of only one low-cost axis. |
