The present invention relates to a specimen polishing machine which automatically moves a polishing head and a specimen to a polishing position by slightly pushing and lowering the polishing head on which the specimen is mounted when a surface of the specimen is polished, therefore, an operator does not have to guide the heavy polishing head to the polishing position. The specimen polishing machine according to the present invention comprises: first and second polishing wheels which have a horizontal disc shape and are arranged in parallel; a polishing head which is placed between the first and second wheels and polishes a surface of a specimen by pressurizing and rotating the first and second polishing wheels alternately and continuously; and a polishing position guide unit which guides the polishing head to a polishing position of the first or second polishing wheel when the polishing head, which is rotated towards the first or second polishing wheel, descends in order to perform polishing. |
