PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for an electrochemical device having a high battery characteristic in a wide condition range and realizing high battery safety, and a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The electrolyte for an electrochemical device includes a low molecular gelatinizer, a high molecular gelatinizer, an electrolyte and a nonaqueous solvent. Furthermore, the lithium ion secondary battery comprises: the electrolyte for the electrochemical device; a positive electrode containing one or more kinds of materials selected from a group of materials that can occlude and emit lithium ions as a positive active material; and a negative electrode containing one or more kinds of materials selected from a group of materials that can occlude and emit lithium ions as a negative active material, and metallic lithium. |
