PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost image forming apparatus without increasing a body size, in the image forming apparatus provided with a sheet cassette and a manual conveyance path from a manual feed tray passing above the sheet cassette.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: a sheet detecting sensor 60 provided above a manual conveyance path, for detecting the presence of a sheet in the manual conveyance path 72 and a sheet housed in a sheet cassette 52; and a reflective plate 61 reflecting light emitted from a light-emitting unit 60a of the sheet detecting sensor 60 toward a light-receiving unit 60b of the sheet detecting sensor 60 and provided below the sheet cassette. |
