PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paste-like bone cement that is separated and stored stably, polymerizes speedily after mixing, and used for, for example, mechanically fixing endoprosthesis for a joint.SOLUTION: There is provided a kit comprising a paste A and a paste B, in which the paste A contains (a1) one monomer for radical polymerization with a boiling point below 120°C at a pressure of 1,013 mbar; (a2) one peroxide as polymerization initiator; and (a3) as polymerization co-accelerator, one tertiary amine, one amidine or a mixture of tertiary amine and amidine; and the paste B contains (b1) at least one monomer for radical polymerization with a boiling point below 120°C at a pressure of 1,013 mbar; (b2) a heavy metal compound as a polymerization accelerator; and (b3) as a polymerization co-accelerator, sulfimide, dicarboxylic acid imide or a mixture of sulfimide and dicarboxylic acid imide, wherein at least one of the pastes A and B contains, as a component (a4) and/or (b4), one filler that is insoluble in (a1) and/or (b1). |
