PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact zoom lens that can obtain high image-forming performance even having a high magnification ratio.SOLUTION: The zoom lens comprises in order from an object side: a first lens group with a positive refractive power; a second lens group with a negative refractive power; and a third lens group with a positive refractive power. In the zoom lens, upon magnifying from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end, an interval between the first lens group and the second lens group increases, an interval between the second lens group and the third lens group decreases and all of the lens groups constituting the zoom lens moves. The first lens group includes, in order from the object side, one negative lens and three positive lenses, and satisfies (1) Nd1>1.84vd1<35, (2) Nd2<1.60vd2>60, (3) Nd3<1.65 vd3>60, and (4) Nd4-Nd3>0.02Nd4>Nd3>Nd2, where Ndi denotes a refractive index of an i-th glass material counting from the object side and Vdi denotes an Abbe number of an i-th glass material counting from the object side. |
