PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce restrictions on a formation area for a radial dynamic pressure bearing of a rotary apparatus.SOLUTION: A rotary apparatus includes a shaft body which has a shaft, a first flange extending radially from a side face, and a second flange extending radially outward from the other end side of the shaft; a bearing body having a shaft surrounding member interposed in an axial gap between the second flange and first flange, and relatively rotated; a radial dynamic pressure generation groove provided to one of the shaft and shaft surrounding member; a first thrust dynamic pressure generation groove provided to one of the first flange and shaft surrounding member; and a lubricating medium. Then an end, farther from the second flange, of an arrangement region for the radial dynamic pressure generation groove is positioned outside an arrangement region for the first thrust dynamic pressure generation groove. |
