PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor installation type panel support structure which has advantage of being installable at any place due to the light weight and ensures sufficient support for the stress caused by wind pressure and the like becoming problems because of its light weight and its being installable at any place.SOLUTION: A panel support structure 1 includes a photovoltaic power generation panel 3 and a fastener 5. The photovoltaic power generation panel 3 is a rigid panel including a truss structure. The underside of the photovoltaic power generation panel 3 is provided with a combination groove 15 having a downward opening, extending in one direction. The fastener 5 includes a lower member 17 and an upper member 19. The lower member includes a base face 21 in contact with the underside of the photovoltaic power generation panel and an insertion piece part 23 rising from the base face so as to be inserted in the combination groove. The upper member includes a presser face 35 in contact with the upper face of the photovoltaic power generation panel. The photovoltaic power generation panel is put between the base face and the presser face over the entire thickness so as to be supported.
