摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MAG welding method that can obtain high welding speed by feeding a filler wire at high speed without causing a melting failure even for carbon steel with a high melting point.SOLUTION: A two-electrode type hot wire MAG welding method includes outputting a current from a welding power source 5 to energize a preceding welding wire 4 and to generate arc A between a base material 2 and the preceding welding wire 4; energizing from a filler wire power source 8 to advance welding while supplying a heated filler wire 7 (with a diameter of 1.2 mm) to a molten pool P formed on the rear side of the arc A; setting the polarity of the current supplied to the preceding welding wire 4, to be positive, setting the polarity of a current supplied to the filler wire 7 inserted in the molten pool, to be positive; and setting an interpole distance to 8-13 mm (when using a solid wire) or to 5-8 mm (when using a flux-cored wire) to perform welding.
