PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibrating device capable of precisely calibrating a partial discharge measuring device for measuring a charge amount of partial discharge occurring in electric equipment in use, without causing a power failure.SOLUTION: A calibrating device 10 comprises a pulse transmitting CT 20, and is disposed on a low voltage side of electric equipment 12 with the pulse transmitting CT 20 therebetween. A detector 16 is disposed on a low voltage side of a coupling capacitor 14 connected in parallel to the electric equipment 12, and a charge amount of a partial discharge pulse detected by the detector 16 is measured by a partial discharge measuring device 18. A simulated partial discharge pulse having a correct charge amount is transmitted from the calibrating device 10 to the electric equipment, and measured by the partial discharge measuring device 18. Calibration of the partial discharge measuring device 18 is performed by comparing the measured value with the charge amount of the simulated partial discharge pulse. |
