An imaging device comprises an imaging element (21), a readout scheme setting unit (231), and an image processing unit (31). At the positions of some of the imaging pixels of the imaging element (21), phase difference detection pixels for detection of focus are disposed. The readout scheme setting unit (231) sets the readout scheme for when pixel data is read out from the phase difference detection pixels and imaging pixels of the imaging element (21). The image processing unit (31) performs processing to correct pixel data from the phase difference detection pixels. When correction processing is being performed, the image processing unit (31) performs correction processing such that the application ratio of read-out pixel data for phase difference detection pixels with respect to interpolation data obtained from pixel data in the vicinity of the phase difference detection pixels is changed according to the readout scheme set by the readout scheme setting unit (231). |
