<p>A safety device includes a diverter and breaker. The diverter includes a thermally deformable member for diversion control which deforms or fuses when reaching a first critical temperature on receiving heat from a load directly or indirectly, and breaks a normal line in response to the deformation or breakage of the thermally deformable member for diversion control to thereby divert the current flowing through the normal line to a diversion line. The breaker includes a thermally deformable member for break control which is connected in series with the normal line and diversion line or in series with the diversion line, and deforms on reaching a second critical temperature that is higher than the first critical temperature on receiving the heat from a load directly or indirectly, and thus the breaker opens in response to the deformation of the thermally deformable member for break control.</p> |
