PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable coating on a base material such as tool steel to be performed at low cost and with high throughput.SOLUTION: Nano/micro wire projections are formed on a surface of a base material such as tool steel by plasma treatment, after that, the nano/micro wire projections are heat-treated and strengthened, then a coating material is formed on the surface of the base material while using the strengthened nano/micro wire projections as anchors, so that the peel strength of the coating material is improved without performing the conventional multilayer coating. As a result, coating on the base material such as tool steel can be performed at the low cost and at high throughput. |
