PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably press a holding part to a carrying object with desired pressing force while reducing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A holding device comprises a fluid moving part configured by having a cylinder 21 and a piston 22, a restricting amount variable type restriction mechanism 23, and a holding part for holding a carrying object. When the fluid moving part is moved in an opposite direction from the direction of an arrow A1 by a movement mechanism connected to the cylinder 21 to further move the cylinder 21 in an opposite direction from the direction of the arrow A1 in a state where the holding part connected to the piston 22 is brought into contact with the carrying object, relatively sliding the piston 22 in the direction of the arrow A1 with respect to the cylinder 21, pressing force for pressing the holding part to the carrying object is generated by passage resistance when air moved by both processing of first movement processing for moving air from an upper air chamber S1 into an air hose 51a and second movement processing for moving air from an air hose 51b into a lower air chamber S2 passes through the restriction mechanism 23. |
