PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a column and a pile which can suppress wasteful material cost and construction cost when joining a high strength PCa column applied to a high-rise building to a pile.SOLUTION: In a joint structure of a column and a pile where a PCa column (52) is connected to a pile (3) having a larger cross section than that of the PCa column (52), the PCa column (52) is configured to have an axial force transmission part 40 composed of a steel column member (41) formed in a closed cross section and a PCa concrete part 42 filled inside the steel column member (41) and having a smaller closed cross section than that of the pile (3), in the vicinity of the upper surface of the pile (3), and foundation concrete 15 is formed directly on the pile (3) so as to involve the axial force transmission part 40. The axial force transmission part 40 is arranged inside a reinforcement (19) projecting upward from the upper surface of the pile (3) and is formed to have a larger cross section than that of the PCa column (52) located directly thereon, and the steel column member (41) is formed with an outside projection (43) projecting from the outside surface and an inside projection (44) projecting from the inside surface.
