Methods and systems are provided for styling elements of a web document at a time of rendering the web document. In one embodiment, the method comprises: performing steps on a processor. The steps comprise: identifying multiple rules that are associated with a property of an element of a web document; applying one or more filters to the multiple rules; identifying a dominant rule based on the one or more filters; and styling the element based on the dominant rule. |
