A bathtub assembly includes a tub body and a positionable shelf including a substantially planar platform and a mounting post disposed in a corner portion of the platform. A mount for the positionable shelf defines a socket for the mounting post and includes a flanged, outwardly threaded, hollow tubular portion open at both ends and a flanged sleeve therewithin. The mounting post can be slidably received within the flanged sleeve such that mounting post can rotate relative to the socket. Accordingly, the positionable shelf can rotate relative to the tub body 360 degrees in a horizontal plane. |
