<p>The method involves illuminating a glass pane with a laser light (1), and extracting the reflected light by a filter, where the light is filtered by narrow-band spectral filter and/or a polarizing filter arranged in front of imaging sensors. An imaging system is utilized for image formation from an overview channel with a relative large field of view for locating a vehicle (5). A high-resolution detail channel is utilized for recognition of people. Illumination at a person or object (6) is controlled to a maximum allowable value. Images of a detail camera are searched for recognition of faces. An independent claim is also included for a device for observation of people behind glass panes in a location-variable vehicle.</p> |
