<p>This absorbent article (1A) is provided with a front sheet (2), a back sheet (3) and a vertically long absorbent body (4). The shape of the absorbent article (1A) is inwardly constricted at the center in the longitudinal direction. The absorbent body (4) has an absorbent core (41). The absorbent core (41) has a block region (411) and a non-block region (412) around the periphery of the block region (411). The block region (411) is configured such that a plurality of block structures (400) comprising a protrusion (43) with high basis weight and a groove (44) with low basis weight are arranged regularly in the longitudinal direction and the width direction from the ventral part (A) to the dorsal part (B). The protrusions (43) and the grooves (44) are formed integrally.
