Disclosed is a method for checking the feature of an LED flash module of a mobile phone. The method for checking the feature of the LED flash module of the mobile phone comprises a step for installing the LED flash module in a lighting unit and arranging a detection device on an upper part; a step for measuring an illumination value received from the detection device by applying power to the LED flash module and firstly lighting the LED flash module; and a step for comparing the illumination value with a reference value and evaluating a performance. The method for checking a feature of an LED flash module of a mobile phone firstly measures the illumination value of a central unit and a both sides surrounding unit of the LED flash module by receiving the light from the central unit and the both sides surrounding unit of the detection device. The present invention is provided to improve the reliability of a product by measuring the illumination value of the LED flash module and checking the performance.
