PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance utilization efficiency of light emitted from a direct irradiating type optical system light source and still not to give unanticipated glare to a vehicle or a pedestrian or the like on a front side.SOLUTION: In an optical system unit 5 to be housed in a lamp chamber of a vehicle lamp, a projection lens 10 is arranged in front of an LED 6 and irradiates incident light frontward. Translucent members 21, 22 are arranged in a region avoiding a passage of the light directly incident into the projection lens 10 from the LED 6. The translucent members 21, 22 are so structured that a part of the light emitted from the LED 6 is made incident and the incident light is emitted toward the projection lens 10. |
