PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kettle which has a function to deliver hot water automatically without keeping pushing a hot water delivery switch and to make coffee with a coffee extractor, and further which enables manual hot water delivery by a user to optionally pour additional hot water for steaming during a steaming step when hot water for steaming is not scattered uniformly.SOLUTION: An automatic hot water delivery control means 6 is configured to operate a hot water delivery sequence for coffee extraction which includes a first drip step for delivering hot water for steaming in an amount according to the number of cups which is designated from a cup number selecting means 8 when an extraction start switch 7 is turned on, a steaming step for steaming, and a second drip step for main extraction, can operate a hot water delivery switch 4 during the steaming step to eliminate uniform scattering of hot water upon the first drip step, and controls the resulted coffee quantity to be constant by subtracting a predetermined time according to the number of cups from the total turn-on time of the second drip step when the hot water delivery switch 4 is operated to deliver additional hot water. |
