PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating solution for a hole injection transport layer which is manufactured in an easy process and can provide an organic device that can achieve a long life.SOLUTION: The coating solution for a hole injection transport layer contains: a low molecular weight organic compound with a weight-average molecular weight less than 2000 which has an oxidizing functional group including an oxygen atom and a halogen atom, and has an aromatic ring and/or a heterocycle; a hole transporting polymer compound with a weight-average molecular weight of 2000 or more; and a solvent. The oxidizing functional group is one or more selected from among the functional groups represented by the specified general formulae (1a) to (1d), where Z, Zand Zeach independently represent a halogen atom.
