<p>A diaper (1) of an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a front surface sheet (2); a rear surface sheet (3); and a vertically-long absorbent body (4) disposed therebetween. Indicators (5) are continuously arranged in the longitudinal direction between the rear surface sheet (3) and the absorbent body (4). The absorbent body (4) has: an absorbent core (41) containing an absorbent polymer; and a coating material (42) that encases the absorbent core (41). Convex high basis weight parts (43) and concave low basis weight parts (44) adjacent to the high basis weight parts (43) are alternately formed in the absorbent core (41), and the high basis weight parts (43) and low basis weight parts (44) are integrally formed. A relief structure, which is formed by the alternate arrangement of the high basis weight parts (43) and low basis weight parts (44) in the direction along which the indicators (5) extend, is formed on the absorbent core (41) on the side of the rear surface sheet (3) on which the indicators (5) are attached.</p> |
