<p>A reply message transmission method and a node. The method comprises: an intermediate node receiving a request message sent by an end node, and if determining that the intermediate node does not have a return path or does not have route accessibility to an end node of a sender, the intermediate node forwarding a generated reply message backwards along a forward path. The present invention can realize functions such as On-demand CV and Router Tracing on an association bidirectional path or a unidirectional path with an end node having a return path, so as to implement fault location and discovery and collection of topology or state information.</p> |
