PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact clothing folding device.SOLUTION: A clothing folding device A for folding clothing C having sleeves comprises: a sleeve folding machine 30 which folds the sleeves to the front side or back side according to posture of the clothing C by one machine; and transportation units 10 and 20 which transport the clothing C to the sleeve folding machine 30. The transportation units 10 and 20 are switchable between a state where the sleeve folding machine 30 makes the clothing C into posture that sleeves thereof are folded to the front side and then the clothing C is transported to the sleeve folding machine 30 and a state where the sleeve folding machine 30 makes the clothing C into posture that sleeves thereof are folded to the back side and then the clothing C is transported to the sleeve folding machine 30. By switching the transportation units 10 and 20, sleeve-folding in front-shown folding and sleeve-folding in back-shown folding can be carried out by one sleeve folding machine 30. Thus, the device can be made compact and it is unnecessary to occupy a large amount of space for installation while enabling the front-shown and back-shown folding ways by one machine. |
