A method for producing a carbon fiber composite material obtained by fusing pellets having a core-clad structure in which the core component comprises carbon fiber and the cladding component comprises a first thermoplastic resin, with a second thermoplastic resin, and kneading the fused pellets and second thermoplastic resin at a predetermined temperature. Also, a method for producing a molded article by fusing and molding the carbon fiber composite material produced using the production method of such description. Furthermore, a carbon fiber composite material characterized by comprising a first thermoplastic resin, a second thermoplastic resin, and carbon fiber, and having a structure where an island phase constituted of the first thermoplastic resin is dispersed within a sea phase constituted of the second thermoplastic resin; as well as a molded article formed by molding the same. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a carbon fiber composite material that has improved physical strength, is readily post-processed, and is optimized for the manufacture of a high-rigidity molded article, as well as a molded article formed by molding the same, and respective methods for producing the carbon fiber composite material and molded article. |
