The wiper blade device (10) has a wiper bar unit (18), a support unit and an elastic element, which is partially made of magnetorheological elastomer material. The elastic element is formed by the wiper bar unit. A magnet unit, which is formed as an electromagnetic unit, is provided to act on the elastic element. The magnet unit is integrated partially in the support unit and partially in the wiper bar unit. The elastic element is provided for adjusting the setting angle of the wiper bar unit. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing an elastic element of a wiper blade device.
