<p>A system (100) for managing the time interval for replacing service parts, the system having a machine operation time information collection unit (107), a service parts delivery history information collection unit (109), a machine unit request prediction unit (102), a regional unit request prediction unit (103), a delivery-and-request disparity computation unit (104), a replacement time interval updating unit (105), and the like, whereby: the operating time of each element is collected for a plurality of machines operating in a region in question in which machine operating conditions are similar; the total number of service parts deliveries is collected for the past performance of the service parts for the region in question; a past parts replacement period is computed for each element of a machine within the region in question from the operating time and the service parts replacement time interval for which a hypothetical value has been stipulated beforehand; requests are predicted by simulation in which the total number of past service parts replacement requests for all elements in a machine is chronologically tabulated; a service parts delivery-and-request disparity value, which is the difference between the total number of chronological service parts replacement requests and the total number of service parts deliveries, is computed; an optimal inference value of the service parts replacement time interval for minimizing the service parts delivery-and-request disparity value is computed while changing the hypothetical value of the service parts replacement time interval; and future requests for a service part are predicted using the optimal inference value of the service parts replacement time interval.</p> |
