PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart-lung machine capable of varying the flow of blood similarly to the variation of the flow of the blood by pulsation of an actual heart, and a control method of the heart-lung machine.SOLUTION: A heart-lung machine 1 includes a tube part 13 for circulating the blood of a subject, a valve part 32a capable of closing or opening the flow of the blood inside the tube part is formed, a negative pressure atmosphere generation part 34 for turning the atmosphere around the tube part 12a to a negative pressure is formed on the upstream side of the valve part, and at least a part of the tube part in the negative pressure atmosphere is expanded by the negative pressure. |
