PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding valve device capable of improving the durability of a device.SOLUTION: A sliding valve device 1D incorporated in the middle of transportation paths 71 and 73 of powder materials and configured to control the transportation of the powder materials transported in the transportation paths includes: a plate-like slide valve element 20D having a through-hole 22D and a closed part 24; a space 15 for housing the slide valve element to be reciprocated; a slide valve element housing 10D having an upstream opening 13D; and an air type slide valve driving means 40 connected to the slide valve element and reciprocating the slide valve element housed in the slide valve element housing to align the through-hole and the closed part with the upstream side opening. At the closed part side end of the upstream side edge of the through-hole of the slide valve element and the closed direction terminal side end of the downstream side edge of the upstream side opening of the slide valve element housing, chamfered parts 17 and 18 are formed, respectively. |
