PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver sulfuration preventive material capable of sufficiently controlling sulfuration of silver, a method for forming a silver sulfuration preventive film using the same, a method for manufacturing a light emitting device having excellent sulfuration resistance, and the light emitting device.SOLUTION: A silver sulfuration preventive material contains clay and organic titanium compound, and the mass ratio of the clay to the organic titanium compound is preferably 75/25 to 10/90. A method for forming a silver sulfuration preventive film includes a coating step of forming the coating film of a silver sulfuration preventive material by applying the silver sulfuration preventive material to the surface of a metal layer containing silver, and a drying step of drying the coating film. |
