PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start appropriate authentication means according to a use environment.SOLUTION: An information processing device of the present invention includes: a detection unit that detects a use environment of the information processing device; a notification unit; an authentication unit that includes a plurality of authentication means performing authentication by using biological information of a person to be authenticated; a storage unit that stores use conditions of the authentication means according to the use environment of the information processing device for each of the plurality of authentication means; and a control unit that determines, when an authentication request is input, which of the plurality of authentication means is used for authentication according to the use conditions and a detection result of the detection unit, and that notifies the person to be authenticated of the authentication means for use via the notification unit.
