PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both functions of pulse wave detection and patient call.SOLUTION: A pulse detector includes: a light emitting part for emitting light to a subject; a light receiving part for receiving transmitted light emitted from the light emitting part and transmitted through the subject or reflected light reflected at the subject; a photoelectric conversion part for converting the transmitted light or the reflected light received in the light receiving part to electric signals; and a received light quantity change part movable on an optical path of at least one of the light, the transmitted light and the reflected light.
