PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by not using print paper wastefully when generating and printing specific area check print data for checking the position of a specific area arranged in original data of plural pages.SOLUTION: A print controller includes: a specific area positional information acquisition unit 13 for acquiring positional information on a specific area arranged in original data of plural pages; a processing unit 41 for performing processing on the specific area on the basis of the positional information on the specific area; and a print data generation unit 40 for generating print data obtained through the processing on the basis of the original data of plural pages. When the print controller generates specific area check print data for checking the position of the specific area on the basis of the original data of plural pages and the positional information on the specific area and when original data without positional information on a specific area set thereto exists in the original data of plural pages, the print controller generates specific area check print data excluding the original data. |
