PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of accurately and easily measuring a dimension of displacement between a body frame and a building structure, and a method for measuring the displacement of the passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor that includes a fixing side part for fixing one side of a body frame 7 to a building structure, and a placement side part 1B for movably placing the other side of the body frame 7 on the building structure 9 is provided with a removable measuring instrument (14) which is inserted toward the building structure 9 via a through-hole 13 formed in the body frame 7, from the inside of the body frame 7 where the placement side part 1B is positioned, and which measures a gap M2 between the body frame 7 and the building structure 9. The gap M2 is measure by the measuring instrument (14) in the installation of the passenger conveyor, and the gap M2 is measured by the measuring instrument (14) when necessary. A dimension of displacement between the body frame 7 and the building structure 9 is measured by comparing the result of measurement in the installation with the result of current measurement. |
