PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus which can save a user the trouble of setting when several ultrasonic images are lined up on the display in an appropriate mode.SOLUTION: An image processing section 205 forms ultrasonic image data on the basis of reflected waves of ultrasonic waves transmitted to a subject and forms display image data to be indicated on a display 207 on the basis of the ultrasonic image data. A control section 208 determines the luminance of a region in a superficial part and a region in a deep part respectively of an ultrasonic image specified by the ultrasonic image data. The control section 208 determines whether the several ultrasonic images should be displayed in a mode in which they are vertically arranged or should be displayed in a mode in which they are horizontally arranged on the basis of the result of determination. The image processing section 205 forms display image data so that the several ultrasonic images may be in a display mode determined by the control section 208. |
