This drive device comprises: a storage unit that stores waveform data for a drive signal which is a sinusoidal wave with a frequency satisfying f1=m/n×f0 (m and n are natural numbers, and m<>n) where f0 is the resonant frequency of an actuator, said drive signal exciting said actuator m times; and a drive processing unit that reads out said waveform data stored in said storage unit and outputs a drive signal corresponding to said waveform data to said actuator.
