<p>The invention relates to a clamp ring closure for fastening lids to containers that has at least one screw lock, comprising an open clamp ring (1) having a U- or V-shaped cross-section, bearing mounts (3) and (4) arranged at the ends of the clamp ring, of which the one bearing mount has a passage hole and the other bearing mount has an internal thread, and a screw (2), which extends through the passage hole of the one bearing mount (3) and engages with the internal thread of the other bearing mount (4) by means of the thread of the screw, wherein the screw extends beyond the width of said bearing mount and, on the segment protruding from the bearing mount, bears a fastened threaded ring (5) that surrounds said segment. At the end of the screw opposite the screw head (6), the screw (2) has a segment (8) that is arranged on the face of the threaded ring (5) facing the screw head and that is adjacent to the threaded ring, which segment has no thread that meshes with the internal thread of the bearing mount (4) and which segment extends at least over the width of the bearing mount.</p> |
