PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic fiber that has high solubility in a normal saline solution with pH 4.5 and superior reaction resistance to alumina, and to provide a composition used for obtaining the inorganic fiber.SOLUTION: The composition for the inorganic fiber has a composition which includes 65.2-77.2 wt. % AlO, 22.8-34.8 wt.% CaO and 0-2.6 wt.% SiO, and in which the total of AlOand CaO is more than 93.0 wt. %. |
