PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve selection of even a device which does not completely satisfy a condition.SOLUTION: A device selection support apparatus 100 supports selection of a specified external device from compound machines 300 that are a plurality of external devices. The device selection support apparatus 100 includes: an attribute acquisition section 142 that is a device information acquisition section for acquiring device information from the compound machines 300; an extraction condition setting section 143 for setting an extraction condition of the compound machines 300 and a degree of importance of the extraction condition; a comparison determining section 144 for comparing the device information with the extraction condition and specifying the extraction condition which does not match; and a device order determining section 145 for determining priority of the compound machines 300 in response to the degree of importance of the extraction condition which does not match, and allowing an operation display section 110 that is a display section to display the priority of the compound machines 300.
