PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating operation unit capable of more reliably preventing a rotating operation member and a rotating force transmission member from being wrongly assembled to a holder.SOLUTION: A rotating operation unit includes a rotating operation member (20), a rotating force transmission member (50) and a holder (60). The rotating operation member (20) includes a first gear (44). The rotating force transmission member (50) includes: a second gear (51); and a transmission shaft (52) having a shape to be coupled to a rotation detector (72) only in a normal first phase relationship. The holder (60) includes first interference parts (65) formed to interfere with the rotating operation member when the first gear and the second gear engage with each other in a phase relationship different from a normal second phase relationship. The rotating operation member includes: a second interference part (42) formed to interfere with the first interference part when the first gear and the second gear engage with each other in a phase relationship different from the second phase relationship; and avoiding parts (41a) allowing attachment to the holder when engaged in the second phase relationship. |
