PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device operated at radio frequencies and detecting accurate measurements, and an antenna for use in the sensor device.SOLUTION: A sensor head 202 is configured for use in a sensing device operated at radio frequencies. The sensor head 202 comprises a non-planar antenna. The sensor head 202 may further include means for connecting the sensor head 202 to a data conduit. The non-planar antenna may be configured to have a predetermined resonance frequency within the radio frequency spectrum.
