PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a high-efficiency white light emitting element having a spectrum in a wide wavelength range; a white light emitting element in which chromaticity of white color hardly changes over time; and a white light emitting element in which the shape of an emission spectrum hardly depends on current density.SOLUTION: A first light emitting element 210 and a second light emitting element 220 are laminated in series over a substrate 200. The first light emitting element 210 has a light emitting layer 212 between a first anode 211 and a first cathode 213, and the second light emitting element 220 has a light emitting layer 222 between a second anode 221 and a second cathode 223. Here, the light emitting layer 212 shows a first emission spectrum 230 having peaks both in a blue to blue green wavelength range and in a yellow to orange wavelength range, and the light emitting layer 222 shows a second emission spectrum 240 having peaks in an orange to red wavelength range. |
