PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a restoration process even if there are data updated in a period from a previous backup process till performing of the restoration process.SOLUTION: A computer system comprises a first computer, and a second computer for backing up data on the first computer. The first computer generates first hash data from prescribed first block data stored in the self computer. The first computer receives, from the backup computer, second hash data obtained by hashing backup data corresponding to the first block data. When there is a difference between the first hash data and the second hash data, the first computer transmits the first block data to the second computer, receives the backup data from the second computer, and updates them. The second computer generates novel backup data from the first block data transmitted from the first computer and the backup data. |
