PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer-implemented method and system for dynamically manipulating an assembly of objects in a three-dimensional scene of a system of computer-aided design.SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: providing the assembly of objects with information relative to kinematic joints linking the objects of the assembly (S1); providing a dynamic manipulating tool (DM) embedded in the scene, the manipulating tool comprising a referential with three axes providing each axis with degrees of freedom of translation and rotation (S2); attaching the dynamic manipulating tool (DM) to one object of the assembly (S3); selecting a degree of freedom for the dynamic manipulating tool (DM) attached to the object of the assembly (S4); applying a load according to the selected degree of freedom (S5); and calculating and displaying in real time a result of a dynamic simulation of applying said load (S6). |
